What kind of NEW hats should I send? Think what a baby or child would like in terms of the hats.... Infants to 16 years old... The smaller ones love bright colors, and logos of characters. The most in demand are 3-5 year olds, because these hats are hard to find in the stores. If you make a hat, please be careful and not add small (swallowable) items to the hat. The hats must be NEW, because the kid's immune systems have been destroyed...

Please send your new hat(s), along with your message (on a 3 by 5 card) signed with only your first name. It is OK to use words such as God, prayer, hope, love, etc. (message such as "I will praying for you", "I am a survivor", "Enjoy your new Hat", etc.) We will include our card to your hat since we put each hat and its card in a 1 gallon zip-lock bag. It is ok to keep the new tags on the hat. It is best to put your hat(s) in a plastic bag, before placing them in a box to protect them from moisture and shipping hazards.

If you would like a HO4C Certifacte of Donation, please include a 8.5 by 11 flat envelope with both your address and postage please.

Can I organize my group to collect NEW hats for you? Yes, you can do that. In fact, many groups have done just that, especially girl scouts, boy scouts, service organizations, schools, churches, red hat society, and friends of cancer survivors....

We suggest that you send it directly to WigsforKids.org. Currently, they are the best organization that we are aware of, for you to provide hair donations.

I know that Hats Off 4 Cancer looking for Hats, but what if I want to donate my wig?

We do support another cancer organization that is in critical need of all kinds of wigs. You may send your wig(s) to us and we will process them and pass them on.
